PanzerVor: A Wargamer's Painting Works

Wings Of Glory Gotha GV

Excepted my passion for the Second World War and the tanks, one of the "things" I really love is WW1 air combat. (you know the Red Baron and all this kind of stuff). A long time ago, I purchased the starter box of a WW1 Air combat game named Wings of Glory. It's a really fun game, fast paced and with rules quick to learn.

Sadly, the starter box doesn't inclde any planes so I urchased two of them, a Sopwith Snipe and a Fokker E3 in order to create simple dogfight for 2 player.

This excellent game have only one fault (for me), it's the price of the planes... and 2 planes can't really make a fun game. So I wanted to buy some other aircraft but I didn't because of the price.

My problem resolved itself as I got some balsa wood from a friend, and with it, some 1/144 scale plans and PVA glue I built my own plane, a Gotha GV german bomber. (The first of many :P )

The real beast.

Now I can make some more interesting battles with bombing objectives, or intercepting the bomber :)

More to follow, the next on the list is the Albatros DV :)

Thanks for reading!
